So maybe I’m not quite a ballerina, but I did wear heels…in grass! That takes coordination. The colors in this outfit are my favorite I’ve worn so far in the challenge. You know how people wear neutrals and add “pops” of color? Well, I feel like I’m wearing color with pops of black and white.
The skirt is by Kiyonna from Gwynnie Bee and it took a couple of tries to make it work. I originally closeted a 5X, and it was extremely big. This one is a 4X, and it’s still kind of big in the waist, so I could have gone even smaller. Being the size I am, I habitually just go with the largest size most retailers offer, but I should have remembered to size down from my past experiences with Kiyonna since I do order from them often for dressy occasions. My advice, they make beautiful and elegant clothes, but measure yourself and check out the sizing chart before you order since you may need a smaller size than you usually get from other brands.
The candy colors in the necklace make me happy. The yellow beads look like lemon drops!
This outfit added a lot of color to my Saturday. What colors do you wear to brighten your mood? Let me know in the comments!
Until next time, keep it bright!
