30 Day Style Challenge, Day 5: Heel Me!

I rarely wear heels in public. You know the saying, “practice makes perfect?” Well, I haven’t practiced wearing them very much mainly because with EE width feet, it’s difficult to find pairs of heels that are cute, comfortable, and will allow me to stay balanced while walking. I do wear heels occasionally for pictures on flat surfaces, but gravel is another story. For every picture like the one above, there’s one like this:

That was a close one! I did manage to stay on my feet, so no worries. Also, I’m beginning to embrace the rusty farm equipment near my house. It creates a nice atmosphere, don’t ya think?

My dress is by Hell Bunny. I always giggle when I look the brand up online because auto-correct wants to change it to “He’ll Bunny.” Personally, I would go with “Heck Bunny,” but that’s just me. I’ve seen Hell Bunny dresses many places from Modcloth to Hot Topic; however, this one is from Gwynnie Bee. Full disclosure, the dress is not in perfect condition. I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the first GB subscriber to wear it as the polka dots are slightly faded and there are imperfections on the print in inconspicuous places. I know many of you ladies shop at thrift stores, so I looked at the dress from that point of view, and I decided it was a keeper!
